About Sascha Kessel

Switzerland-based Surface Designer and Artist, Sascha Kessel, was born in Aachen, Germany in 1977. With a background in technique, he established his first Surface Design company in the Netherlands in 2013. Sascha's passion lies in the exploration and creation of handcrafted mixed media surfaces, which he incorporates into bespoke and high-end residential projects worldwide.

 

Collaborating with renowned artists and designers has afforded Sascha the opportunity to work on prestigious interior projects on land, sea, and in the air. Notable names such as Phillip Starck, Raphael Navot, and Piet Boon have influenced and inspired his artistic journey. Sascha continually experiments with various techniques and mediums, including carving, liquid metal, epoxy, and other base materials.

 

Combining the use of artificial intelligence and traditional handcrafted methods, Sascha uniquely crafts his own art and creates signature surfaces for various projects and collaborations.
